Chris Harle

Hometown: Portland, ME

Why you moved to Montana: I started with Big Sky Land Management during summer of 2020, having moved from my hometown of Portland, ME. I sought Montana and its mountainous terrain as my new home seeking adventure and new challenges. With a background in Meteorology and experience in landscaping and management, Big Sky quickly became my new home and further fueled my passion for working and having fun in the mountains of Southwest Montana.

Hobbies: Outside of work, I enjoy getting outside to hunt, fish, snowmobile, and snowboard. I also spend a lot of time hiking with my dog Oakley.

What you do in your position: I am the superintendent at Big Sky Land Management, my days consist of managing the excavation crews, communicating with clients, and creating schedules for future jobs and projects.

Why you work for BSLM: BSLM offers the chance to work closely with the owners and employees. This allows me to develop friendships and relationships with everyone directly; an opportunity you don’t always get with larger companies. I am excited to be a part of BSLM and look forward to my future with the company.
