Brock Schatz

Hometown: Spokane, WA

Why you moved to Montana: I was born in Spokane Washington and moved to the Bozeman area at the age of 12 with my family and graduated from Bozeman High in 2010.  Shortly thereafter, I moved back to Spokane where I graduated with a degree in Construction Management from Eastern Washington University.  After living away from Montana for several years I moved back in the fall of 2022 and am happy to call Bozeman home again.

Hobbies: When I’m not at my desk or in the field, you can find me snowboarding, fishing, wake surfing, bowling, or duck hunting.

What you do in your position: My favorite aspect of the construction process is seeing the project develop from the pre-construction phases all the way through the execution in the field and the final turn over of the project to the customer.

Why you work for BSLM: I work for BSLM because I enjoy the challenges that excavation projects in the mountains of Montana present as well as the local, family, small business atmosphere that I get to partake in every day.  I love being part of a team that is goal oriented and focusing on growing and becoming the best excavation contractor in the region.
